Duis
Duis are creatures that appear in a fantasy series called Azalen. They were created by a Polish scientist. They are a kind of combination of a cat, a dog, and a ghost, hence their name duis (ghost + dog). For years, the inhabitants of Poland have been attacked by one of the countries that emerged after another world war in the 48th century. In order to weaken Poland, this country decided to weaken its citizens mentally and physically. Thus, it first directed lasers at Poland, affecting the health and mental state of its citizens. However, a solution was found. Special trees were planted to absorb the poison from the lasers and render it harmless to humans. When exposed to high doses of poison, the trees change the color of their leaves from green to burgundy or black. They then shed these leaves so that new green ones can grow. Since this method proved ineffective, it was decided to attack with the help of werbers. These are special creatures that are ruthless, capable of mass killing and influencing the psyche of the inhabitants. The response to this was the creation of duis. A Polish scientist combined the genes of canines, felines, and nepes. However, some do not believe this and think that he used something else. Nepes are almost mythical creatures; it is said that they once existed, but no one is entirely sure if this is true. However, the scientist insisted that he had found such genes and that it was thanks to them that duis could be created. Duisy, like nepes, are large, can grow in size, become semi-transparent, and pass through matter. They are strong and intelligent, as well as friendly. Their original task was to produce a kind of antibody for werber energy and laser radiation. They can influence people’s emotions and improve their mood, as well as neutralize and completely eliminate werber energy.
Duis A and Duis B – the difference
A Polish scientist created one type of duis, currently known as duis A. This type of duis can only have a positive influence on humans. These creatures are characterized by extraordinary empathy and care. Duis B were created independently in response to Tumult’s attacks and his growing power. This is where the controversy arises, because the latter duis, called duis B, are not only extremely powerful but can also influence people’s decisions in ways that are not always positive. Duis A can be compared to a beloved, sweet dog that will always cheer you up, while duis B is a guard dog that defends well but can be dangerous if poorly trained. Let’s return to our fantasy. In the event of an attack, duis A can only fight the werewolf, neutralize its energy on people, give people ideas on how to escape, protect people with its body, influence their clear thinking, but… but it will not give them ideas on how to kill the werewolf, how to kill the enemy, how to defend themselves in a way that is not only nice. Werber B can do that.

Controversy
Both duisy A and B are controversial. Why? Some people mistakenly believe that since duisy A are nice, they weaken people in their fight and aggression, which is sometimes necessary for combat. This is not true. Although duis themselves do not send negative scenarios, they are nevertheless useful in the fight against werebreas and their energy. The balance is definitely in their favor.
Duisy B, on the other hand, are unpredictable beings. They are strong, but also dangerous. Some fear their power and that it will turn against them. For this reason, Duisy A can be left uncontrolled, while Duisy B must have a guardian assigned to them who is responsible for them and controls them.
Appearance
Duis are large creatures. When fully grown, they are about the size of a 4-5 story building. They have large paws ending in clawed fingers. They have distinctive large eyes with interesting shapes and white rims. The eyes of duis A are dark gray, and those of duis B are black. Colorful reflections, also with interesting shapes, are reflected in their eyes. Duis A are colored in cheerful, often pastel colors. Duis B have a more severe coloration. Male individuals have a mane.
